The Auto Show

So Johnson was dying to go the Auto show this year and was just going to take Chi with him, but somehow convinced me to go too, which i'm glad he did bc it ended up being a lot of fun. The best part was watching Chi's eyes light up as he discovered the one and only "Bumblebee". He was a little hesitant at first to sit in him, but then I think he realized that he wasn't going to transform.

This kid was attracted to all the fast and expensive cars. A little too early for that kind of taste. One day buddy!
Another fast and expensive car.
And another...
For some reason he felt he was the only one that deserved to get close to the stingray!
Car taste must be something else Chi has aquired from his daddy! Lucky me.
Boston was just as bad, actually she really loved any car. I think she threw about a dozen tantrums bc we wanted to move on or she couldn't get in a certain car. When she was in them she crawled all over the place and I finally had to take her shoes off bc it was driving me crazy to see her stepping on nice leather of $80K cars...yikes!

There we go something economical, reliable and cheap to maintain. My kind of car.

Actually I lied, deep down inside my heart truly desires a cadillac escalade and this one was "fuel effecient"...right! Although my love for this vehicle was a little tainted when Tamu told me that every time she sees one of these she can't help but think it's a drug dealers car. I guess it doesn't help that they keep adding more and more chrome to the exterior.

Crazy Chang-ers!

This is what I have to live with these days....a bunch of big mouths! I finally put the Halloween makeup away so that Johnson couldn't play in it anymore. And this is my little girl biting off more than she can chew. Yep, she made herself a pancake sandwich, which she must get from her dad.
And this boy is just crazy all the time. I can barely take a picture at all these days without his mouth hanging wide open.

The start of the end

This is the start of the end of the year. Halloween is always a good indication that the year is almost over. I just wish there was some way to slow down the holidays.
I first have to say that my pictures suck. They suck bc my kids will NOT hold still to take a picture anymore. Plus getting them to keep their costumes on was almost near impossible.
Halloween is not one of my favorites, but the kids make it more exciting for me. Especially Boston. She was shockingly very into trick or treating. I shouldn't have been that shocked bc it's a pretty well known fact that the girl loves food and loves chocolate. So it didn't take her long to figure out how to hold her pumpkin high and say please and thank you to anyone holding a treat. I thought that after the first hour of walking she would be tired and want me to hold her candy for her, but she would not let go and insisted on stopping at every door. Chi of course was pretty mellow all night, very curious about all the costumes. His crazy grandma who dressed up as a scary witch let her scream out at every innocent child that passed by, which didn't help the poor kid. It made Chi a little hestitant about the whole night. On thursday Malachi's preschool had a costume party. This is my iron man and little lamb that refused to keep her adorable ears on.
Iron man and Optimus Prime came head to head at the party.

Iron man for the 2nd year in a row. It's going to be a sad day when this costume doesn't fit anymore.

We went up to Poulsbo to trick or treat with grandma and papa and I let Chi pack one of his bags on his own, which included his costume. He carried that backpack around for an hour before we left the house, but somehow it managed to not make it in the car. So my mom ran out to find a costume...pirates was all that was left in his size. He did not like it at all.

She was a little better about keeping her ears on for me on Halloween. The distraction of candy might have something to do with it.

Yep chocolate and more chocolate.

We hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween and look forward to hearing from and seeing our friends and family over the next few months.
